Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: New York City

If tackling complex software problems, working with some of the brightest minds in networking technology, and being an integral member of a dynamic, fast-moving team sounds appealing, we would love to speak with you!

Responsibilities:

  • Individual and collaborative design of significant product features to meet customer needs
  • Individual contributor responsible for the implementation, debugging, delivery, and maintenance of those product features
  • Work closely with other talented software and QA engineers to build and enhance products

Required Qualifications: You must have all of these!

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalents
  • 3+ years of industry experience working on complex software architecture projects
  • Strong technical written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent programming and software design skills in Java
  • Strong object oriented design fundamentals
  • Self-motivated and independent learner with proven ability to conquer new problem domains
  • Comfortable working in a small, flexible and fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications: The more of these you have, the stronger your candidacy!

  • Experience with IP networking, especially knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, EIGRP, and OSPF)
  • Experience with Java performance optimization
  • Experience with design patterns
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
  • Experience with voice or video over IP applications
  • Interest and ability to grow into a leadership role (lead design sessions, provide guidance to new hires, etc.)
  • Experience working with JBoss, Hibernate and JMS is a plus

Position: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: New York City

Responsibilities:

  • Review, improve and ensure the quality of software for the Iptivia product suite
  • Design and implement test cases for conformance and performance analysis using the BGP, OSPF, ISIS and EIGRP protocols
  • Create automation scripts and process improvements for more efficient quality assurance

Required Qualifications: You must have all of these!

  • MSEE or BSEE + 5 years of experience in enterprise software development and/or quality assurance
  • Perl scripting and UNIX (Solaris, Linux) experience
  • Experience with Cisco IOS
  • Comfortable with fluid, entrepreneurial environment
